Some historic:
The Methodist Public Health Center with clinic was opened during November 1962. Before this a team came weekly from CFC Hospital Vrindaban for a clinic in Mursan, but since this was only once in a week it was difficult for the people to get the help they needed.
After some time the Raja (The King) at that time in Mursan sent a delegation to CFC Hospital, and asked the administration to build a center in Mursan, so help could be available 24 hours. He even gave a plot of land for this purpose, and the center was built.
After that the center have grown and the work has expanded from a small clinic to a multi project.
Since 2003 we have been doing a lot of work on HIV/AIDS. The famous TBA's Project, on which we trained 10226 traditional birth attendants, was converted into a HIV/AIDS Project in 2004. Since then awareness Camps have been regularly done in 10 blocks of Hathras and Aligarh Districts. Even in Mathura District we have HIV work going on, in Mathura High Way, The Dhaba Project, and on temples in Vrindaban.
Last year, the center in Mursan was upgraded as a ICTC center, for HIV & AIDS, and this is supported by Inda Government. In Mursan we have also ASHA Building with delivery room for HIV patients. Please read more about all these projects in the Project Folder. Thank you for visiting thie web site.
