The time is running, and Ingrid has just left today. She is visiting some other places in India also. But I think she has seen a lot of things here, most of the projects etc.
Today we had a HIV testing camp in Sikandra rao, in a village with name Vill. Parwar Pangamt, were about 1400 people are living. On the camp about 1230 people were present, and it was taken 45 HIV tests, from 19 men and 26 women.

The programs are going on very well here in Mursan, and just now we have a guest here, Ingrid Storholmen from Norway. She is here because she is suppose to write a book on missionwork together with The Bistandsnemda in Norway, and she might write something about Mursan projects also. Best wishes to you Ingrid !!
Everything here is going on well. Ingrid came here February 17., and started going with us on the projects from febr. 18. She has seen a bit since then, and let me tell you briefly about it.
First of all we had a introduction here, and she saw the center in Mursan, Day Care Center and the church, took part in a HIV/AIDS Support group, saw a newborn baby was born and in the end that day also visited Babu Ka Nagla were she met a Youth Club and Womens Club also.
Friday she saw the health Camp in Mursan Clinic and also a Re Training in Sasni Block, where 57 women were given training on deliveries and HIV/AIDS.
Today we will go to Beswan in Iglas Block, were we are going to have a Handicap meeting.

It is still Tuesday, but it is getting late. It is also getting warmer here, and we all hope these days will stay here for a long, long time. It is nice, not cold, not hot.
Yesterday we had a Re Training for the 4 months training girls/women, whom have finished the training. 23 came, and it was a good day, and they learned a lot. A lot of topics were taght them, from normal delivery, complications during pregnancy, delivery and after delivery, HIV/AIDS and a lot of other things.

Since last time we visited this web site, we have had Sterilization Camp on Thursday 4. February, a Support group Meeting on Friday 5. February and today a parents meeting in Day Care Center.
Let us tell you a little about these events.
4. February 2010. The sterlization Camp on thursday was not a very big camp, but it was not bad either. We operated 39 women, and everything went on well.
5. February 2010, The Support group meeting for the HIV/AIDS people were well visited, and there were represents from 27 families, and from most of the families there came 2 or three. We had good talks, and a lot of counselling and information were given.
6. February 2010. The parents meeting in The Day Care Center were also a well visited meeting today. In fact, I can hardly remember I have seen so many people on these meetings before. It was a good communication, and both Dr. Vishal and Dr. Mamta were present, and both talked about childrens helath, vaccination, HIV/AIDS, DOT (tuberculosis) Ante natal etc.

We have some updating here, and since we have 3 different web sites,( 2 in Norwegian and this one in English ), we need to do something here and something there. We have four meetings / Camps we want to tell you about, but will show you pictures from one, and give you a link for the others. Today we also have a sterlization Camp her, and we will tell you about that later.....
27 January it was HIV Testing camp in Mursan Block, in a village with name Khokiya. There live about 700 people, and on the camp were 60 people. See pictures on the Norwegian web.
28. January it was a HIV Testijg camp on the Dhaba Project, on BPL dhaba. 38 people were present,and 16 HIV Tests were taken, all HIV negative. We show the pictues here on this web.
29. January, a school meeting was held under the DOT / HIV program, see pictues on the missionblogg
30 January a HIV Testing camp were held in Chandaus block, 47 people present and 31 HIV Tests. These pictures are also shown on the mission blogg.
